Tasty place. A little slow on the meat orders and each portion is devoured quickly. Seating for large parties can be challenging but the ice cream bar is a lovely way to soothe the searing hole being burned into your gut. Ask for jugs of water to refill the pot and for drinking.

So I went to the Chinatown location on Hester st and I was kinda disappointed !!! I love hotpot and I’ve been dying to try Hou Yi because I thought it would be awesome ! Menu selection was good but they were missing a few thinks I liked Like eggs & beef tendon . Sauce bar was fully equipped! But my broth was nasty and had a foul smell to it , it was supposed to be spicy beef but it smelled and tastes like feet. So hopefully this location would be better

The best hot pot in NYC!!! With unlimited drinks and Yakult, along with ice cream, it tops my list on hot pot places. I recommend getting the fish balls, as they’re always good with hot pot.

This place is amazing truly work every penny. Balance yourself out though. There’s a 30 dollar waste fee. Definitely make a reservation even just earlier in the day. Basically 33 bucks unlimited tea, juice, soda and ice cream not even to mention the actual hot pot with so many flavors and every person can get their own base. Such a cool experience!
